Transportation costs can be entered as a pricing matrix. This allows a single set of costs to have different rates for the same product based on key parameters including, despatch depot, country, currency, delivery type, unit of measurement, vehicle, haulier, driver, etc. The pricing matrix applies to both default and account transportation costs.
Excalibur supports single and multiple sets of default transportation costs using the pricing matrix. For example, a single default set of costs can be applied to all despatch depots or each depot can have its own default transportation costs.
Transportation costs can be entered for hauliers, vehicles and drivers. Costs can also be assigned to all account types (customers, contracts and suppliers) including associated delivery sites and enquiries. Account costs override default transportation costs.
